K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Unless Suin isn't her father's biological daughter either. These dramas do twist and turn a lot when they're ready. It'll probably be revealed in the end that the father married Suin's mom and accepted Suin as his own or something.

The other family members are going to make it impossible to keep the Jisu secret much longer, and if Jisu asks I don`t think the elders will lie to her. I think she can come to terms with it once she learns all the facts.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Good episode. Wonder about Hyeonsu's comments on Hiro not being Korean, regarding Jisu. Considering how many white males are involved with Asian women...especially, Korean, I suspect....I would think the inter-racial dating thing should be a non-issue? Or, is it still "taboo" in Korea??
Looks like Dr. Dad is getting his memory back. Nice of Minsu to not lay blame on Miryeong for her mom's financial troubles & insisting on letting his MIL keep her pride....I still don't really like him though, LOL!!
Seems like Jisu's assistant (Jinyeong?) is jealous of Jisu's relationship with Hiro...seems like she wants him for herself!! She is VERY cute, too!!
Looks like Sumi is going to find out the truth about Jisu & her mom...and then the fireworks will really fly!!
LOVED how Hiro went for it...the kiss...at the end!! About time, and I'd do the same, especially considering how cute Jisu is, LOL!! Hope she changes her mind about ending the relationship!! They SOOO belong together!!
--- Nam Sang-Mi...my favorite K-drama actress & a BEAUTIFUL woman!!
Chae Rim...my 2nd favorite K-drama actress & gorgeous!!

No-o-o-o-o-o....Jisu and Hiro don't you know it is fate? You must be together......Suin and Hyeonsu, it is your destiny-to be together.
Bette Davis (as Theda Bara) once said, hold on, it's going to be a bumpy ride. Hopefully, in the case of Jisu & Hiro and Suin and Hy, Love will triumph over all.

It's not fate. It is the wish of the writers and director. The outcomes are so obvious. The only suspense is how it and when it happens.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I think it was Bette Davis in her star role in 'All about Eve' and the line was..
'Fasten your seatbelts*..It's going to be a bumpy night.'
It was a great movie in that day. I wouldn't mind seeing it again.
Peg

The Japanese occupied Korea for a long time and were very harsh in their treatment of the Korean people. Then there is the little matter of the "Comfort Women" of WW II, where the Japanese took young Korean girls/women and put them in camps as sexual slaves for the Japanese soldiers to use. There is a major movement to have the Japanese government recognize they did this (officially they don't) and make apologies, if not reparations. Also, the current Dokdo Island issue is a hot one with Japan claiming territorial rights and South Korea claiming it is theirs and has been from maps of ancient times.
Even though the Korean Wave of celebs and singers has touched the hearts of Japanese women en masse, many Koreans (especially older generations) harbor great animosity towards the Japanese in general.
