Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I was surprised and happy to see Yongseon (Crabby) get off her high horse and actually apologize to her doctor SIL, Sunjeong. It was good to see both of them make amends with the other.
Yikes, can't we just see the scam coming with Chilnam and the cab?! $30K flushed down the toilet. I've been wondering how Yongseon ended up married to Chilnam. He's not the sharpest guy, but good hearted and loving. Maybe nobody else wanted the crabby Yongseon? Not many men would fancy the thought of living with such a sharp-tongued woman the rest of his life, I suppose. Maybe it was just a family arranged marriage and they both took what was offered.
Looks like this drama is hitting a bunch of contemporary social ills we've not seen covered before. Not only Suin's husband having a male lover but now we have Minsu and his addiction to computer games. I'm afraid the computer is a mistress Miryeong can't defeat. What a lonely life for her and the two kids.
Since we saw Spaghetti Dad telling his second in command to get rid of all the deadwood models, I wonder if anyone will have the strength to fire Sumi? Well, regardless of what happens to her job in her dad's company, we can be sure she will be right there causing trouble for all the people around her, family, friends or co-workers!

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
The writers could make it more interesting if the baby`s father wasn`t Suin`s ex .I didn`t think the cab money would go that fast, although the cab purchase wasn`t exactly a well researched business plan.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Remember Suin talking to the baby saying "you're safe now"-and the lines that established that she left he husband around last November/early December? She endures five years of misery without telling anyone and leaves as soon as she discovers she is pregnant, doubtless because she is pregnant. That leads me to suspect that Suin met someone she looked to for comfort and who was looking for something else from Suin. When she found out she was pregnant the other man ran like a rabbit. Suin is terrified her abusive husband will harm the baby since it would be obvious it is not his and she leaves to protect the baby. The other man has done his part so to speak and probably never appears.
Suin would be the last woman any mother in Korea would accept as a daughter in law-divorced, with a child and that from an adulterous affair for which she could be prosecuted or threatened with that by her ex-in-laws. Doesn't seem likely to me that Suin's ex is the father-she would not be so afraid of his harming the baby if that were the case

I thought Jisu`s Mother was discussed in an earlier episode. Someone said she left the family and Jisu because of problems within the family,so she couldn`t be blamed. They might have been refering to another woman, but it seemed to be Yonghwan`s wife.
