Hmmm.... Now I'm wondering how Suin's mother is so deeply connected to Yonghwan (the deceased brother). In the beginning of the drama, she is shown praying at the temple on his memorial day, while Gramps and his lady companion are out at the gravesite. Was Yonghwan involved with Suin's mother, and maybe Jisu is the daughter between them?

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)

I guess I wasn't logged in so my comments were rejected. My hard drive crashed, and apple gave me a new hard drive free so now I can comment again.

I have liked this show since the first episode. It is one of the best shows during this time slot in a long time because of the excellent and experienced actors. I just hope the writers don't muck this one up as they did the last one.

Pali... I'm with you on this one. I really like it and also hope they don't turn it into a 'Destiny' disappointment!!

A first I've never seen in any K-drama was a few episodes back when Jisu's mother was in ordinary blue jeans! She looked very cool in them, I thought, and it was really nice to see them dress her that way. Usually, the characters her age are dressed more formally—even at home.

I noticed MySoju has created a front page for The Road Home, followed by this announcement... class ul COMING SOON TO MYSOJU! - Keep watching Mysoju for updates! Episodes are coming shortly!

Sorry but I really can't buy that Mr. Park turns out to be a nice guy, who was just the "victim" in a accident, and never intended to run off with Chilnam's money emoticon

Despite the fact that Hyeonsu should forget about Suin & that I really like Chowon, don't like how they're turning her into a cold-hearted, vindictive b**** who will do whatever she has to do, to get Hyeonsu!! Not cool...though, not cool what she did, with that "present" for Suin emoticon

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)

It was a little too hokey that Chilnam didn't get scammed after all. Still, I would have felt the same way if he HAD been scammed again—especially since we learned last night that he had the exact same thing happen to him before! Nevertheless, Chilnam definitely should never be allowed to handle money, except what his wife gives him for pocket change. LOL!

I can't believe the lack of professional ethics by the doctors in some of these dramas. Sunjeong (Hyeonsu's mom) blabbing about Suin's pregnancy with her friend and Chowon?! And then not even having the sense to feel some embarrassment when her son confronts her?! Just the opposite. Sunjeong expects Suin to be happy that her pregnancy is being broadcast.

I think Chowon was genuinely trying to be friends with Suin and to make up for being suspicious of Hyeonsu having feelings for Suin. She feels greatly mistaken and relieved now, having assumed Suin is married. I expect her to enter the realm of Major League B****dom as she learns the true situation.

In the car when Hyeonsu got upset with Suin for trying to matchmake him with Chowon, and Suin so angrily told him even if she did marry again it would never be him, Hyeonsu seemed to change a little. Of course, he was angry and hurt by Suin's words, but I had the lurking feeling that he might just turn to Chowon now that all seems hopeless with Suin.

[Program note: For Hiro fans, he is in the 4-episode SBS drama on LA-18, Tokyo Sun-Shower, beginning Monday. Replaces Terroir.]

nchristi..As to the ethics of the doctors in Korean shows, it is not surprising since the writers don't do very much research when it comes to hospitals and medical staff.

Well, there's no doubt that Chowon knows how Hyeonsu feels about Suin and now Chowon is probably going to turn into the "green-eyed monster"...though, I still think Hyeonsu should pick Chowon over Suin emoticon

Wow...Miryeong is one PRETTY lady emoticon I actually don't blame her for stranding Minsu, and I'm a guy, LOL...Minsu is just an ungrateful hothead & really takes Miryeong for granted!! I think he'll wind up regretting it and hope the "entertainment guy" is not just trying to get Miryeong into something "weird" emoticon

I had a suspicion that Chilnam's new car would not work or break down on the road but glad that it didn't. He's a nice guy & deserves some good fortune.

Took me a while to get into this drama but really liking it now!! Of course, it helps that there are lots of pretty ladies emoticon

I had the feeling from the start, that they were trying to dress down and make Miryeong appear as a plain housewife. But it was obvious that she was a beautiful woman trapped as a homebody. Minsu has some good qualities, but can also be very rude and arrogant.Count on Chilnam getting into one scrape after another as a cabbie who now must manage his own business.

I am enjoying watching the various family dynamics and real life situations that can come up in todays families and how they are being handled from a Korean perspective.
