Hiro, Jisu and her bro re: height... I was figuring them to be between 5'8 - 5'10. Not wanting you to go to a lot of trouble, but can you find the heights of the two guys? Does Jisu wear high heels?I think most Americans visualize the actors in these dramas as a lot taller than they actually are. Everything is relative. People who are very slender always look quite tall through the camera, even if they are short, until you can see them beside others as reference points.
Here's more than you ever wanted to know about height (stats from 2005/2006).
South Korea (age 19 yrs.) (Northerns avg. several inches shorter)
Men: 5'8.7" Women: 5'5.3"
(Note: Koreans are tallest on average of Asians)
United States (20-39 yrs)
Black Men: 5'10.1" Black Women: 5'4.4"
Mexican Men: 5'7.2" Mexican Women: 5'2.5"
White Men: 5'10.4" White Women: 5'4.9"
(Note: Could not find a stat for Asians within the US population)
In answer to your specific questions, CGE:
Hyeonsu (Lee Sang Woo): 185 cm = 6'.06" (a shade over 6')
Hiro (Otani Ryohei): 180 cm = 5'9"
Sumi: 5'4"
Suin: 5'5.8"
Jisu: Yes, she is usually shown wearing high heels at work and in the office, but slippers in her home. Unless she is shown beside Hyeonsu, she towers over the older actors playing her parents. Both Dr. Dad and Dr. Mom are very diminutive people and I could not find their height listed anywhere (I imagine they are right around 5' tall, add an inch to Dr. Mom).
It should be noted, too, that K-actors' heights are almost always padded in their official profiles unless they are near to being 6' tall. Most of the time Hiro looks barely taller (if at all) than Jisu. If you look closely, whenever they have a hugging, or up close and personal shot, he is then considerably taller than she. She probably removes her shoes, bends her knees down a little, or they have Hiro stand on something to elevate his height. You sometimes see this in 'behind the scenes' or NG ("no good") shots on entertainment programs or in Special Features on DVD box sets.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Alan Ladd when kissing or next to his leading lady always stood on a box, Many Hollywood leading men are short. Tom Cruise is one of the many starts today who are short.
Nchristie.... I may be wrong but Asians born in the United States as many others whose parents were born in foreign countries where the population is not tall tend to be much taller than their parents because of the nutrition and better health care in the US. The further down the generation line, Asians and others become even taller.
As far as Asians and their height, Northern Chinese and other Asians from Manchuria tend to be much taller than the average Chinese or other Asians.
Suin, Hyeonsu, and Jisu all appear to be the tallest actors in the show. However sometimes their physical proportions are skewed.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I think Suin/Hyeonsu has now surpassed the In-Young marathon walk(s) in MSMD for the most repeated storyline ever... At least of the dramas I've seen.
I think Suin and Hyeonsu have both come up with a little more passion in their acting.
I remember some comments about how Suin dresses. She dressing much better now. But she's somehow still gangly looking to me. In this last ep she must have changed at least three times. really looked great in that white dress. Very elegant.
I want to see more of the schoolkids, they're the only interesting (and sane) ones left. ... Time to go for my (our) walk.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Hyeonsu's hands seem to be a little short, indeed.
For the poster who wrote about the Aunt getting a bully beatdown, I'm so there with you. She's getting ridiculously tired and I'm tired of everyone just letting her say/do whatever she wants.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Why couldn't Mr. Han just fire Hyeonsu instead of closing Dreamers, thus firing all the employees? Is that the responsible act of a CEO? He should be more level-headed than that.
This was what, ep 97? And there's 23 or so more? I think that's 20 too many. This part of the story with Suin and Hyeonsu has gotten too repetitive. I hate that all the adults are acting like 5-yr olds, while Juho and Shinae are the only ones acting like adults.
Cute scene where Juho spray-paints Shinae's portrait over the graffiti.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Well, I guess I am done with this story. The writers need to get a reality check. Why would Mr. Han event let Hyeonsu into his house to begin with? The reaction of the two other children holding back their parents was unbelievable and disrespectful.
Ms J with the red glasses give advice how to bring up children when she isn't married and have children of her own. Actually, i don't feel sorry for the parents, but I think, Hyeonsu and Suin are behaving poorly for adults in their 30's.
I know, i am probably in the minority, I can't stand Hyeonsu and Suin. I do like Jisu and Minsu's wife and mother-in-law the best in the show. Ugh!!!

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Suin's dad has turned from a nice guy to at total JERK...and somebody tell me, unless he's the President of South Korea, how can he "bar" Hyeonsu from getting a job ANYWHERE That was totally vindictive of him, to close down the whole company? Does he even realize that he's screwing other people, not just Hyeonsu? I did like the way Hyeonsu stood up to Suin's mom & dad, and took Suin out of there
Hope Miryeong lets Minsu have it...though, it was his credit card that he cancelled. He's another one I want to see get butt-whipped by somebody
Loved the interview Hiro gave to the Korean reporter & how he professed his love for Jisu, and right in front of her! You could see the "jealousy" on Jisu's face, while watching Hiro in the ad with the girl & then being interviewed by that cute reporter, and I think it's only a matter of time before she realizes her feelings for Hiro
Loved how Shinae & her dad stood up to Auntie and how WRONG she was towards Suin's mom!!
--- Nam Sang-Mi...my favorite K-drama actress & a BEAUTIFUL woman!!
Chae Rim...my 2nd favorite K-drama actress & gorgeous!!

Well they are good for comic relief altho he has no respect for his wife. I think she is rather sweet and very pretty.
