Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I found a source for e-subbed episodes of this drama. Unfortunately, they're 10+ episodes behind. But it's good for picking up all the past deleted scenes. I've watched epi 1–3 so far.
A few interesting tidbits from those... class ul The very first scene of episode 1 is of Suin's mother at the temple, praying in remembrance of someone. She is secretly there, her husband (Spaghetti Dad) thinking she is doing some volunteer work somewhere. It is her birthday, but she is very sad. Back at home, her children try to cheer her up, but she never talks about where she has been. One of the daughters comments that their mother is always sad on her birthday instead of seeing it as the happiest day of her life.
In a conversation between Yongseon and Chilnam, YS talks about how her brother died. Chilnam says it was just 'his time.' Yongseon argues that it was not his time and that CN is partially responsible, too. She was about to divorce Chilnam because he had run off with $500 she had worked long and hard to save. She had called Yongjun (her doctor brother) to come over and be her witness. Instead he had called Yonghwan, who rushed over to help out his sister and resolve her family crisis. On his way, he crashes all by himself (no other car involved) and is killed.
YS: It was his wife's birthday that day. She was pregnant at the time, too. I'm the one who killed him. It's my fault.
CN: Jisu's all grown up, too. It's time to move on.BTW, did Spaghetti Dad say to Red Glasses last week that Jisu is her relative? Or was he talking about Hyeonsu? I must have missed (or forgot) that connection. Anyone remember that conversation? I'm unclear on Red Glasses' background, except that she never married. What is her connection to Spaghetti Dad?

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Now it`s Suin. This is the 3rd Daily Drama in a row, where there is an adoption,or the parentage of a major character is in doubt. Guess the writers have found a major dramatic device and intend to use it.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Actually, this show has two Jisu and Suin who's births are in doubt. Why, I don't know, but so far, I still like this show.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Last night Suin`s Mom revealed that Suin wasn`t her biological child. Whether she was from a previous marriage, affair,or adopted wasn`t mentioned. This might have been cut from the Ch 44 broadcast.

K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
I watched KBS World and there was no mention of who was Suin's mother. The only thing mentioned was the mother was not her birth mother.

Re: K-Drama: 집으로 가는 길 (The Road Home)
Cho Won may not be all that bad but she does seem a little self-centered-she wants to befriend Su In because " It would be good for me.."
Su In did say something in an earlier episode to the effect that the baby is her ex-husband's but the way she said it makes me suspect maybe not
I ask your opinion on a debate I'm having-my regular co-watcher says that the junior office assistant in Road Home, the young guy who noticed the poster about single mothers- that he was the assistant in the veterinarians office in Likeable or Not.
I don't think so-but the voice is the same. Anyone else think it is the same guy?

Jisu is the daughter of the surgeon brother, the one that died in the car crash, his wife was preggy when he died, Jisu was given to them at birth she was raised as a daughter. Su In mother I think is Jisu biological mother.Chowon is a stalker she is annoying and pushy.
