K-Drama: 스타의 연인 (Celebrity Lover/Star's Lover)
Does anybody here in this group have the feeling that Eun Young and Woojin might end up together in this drama?

No. I don't think so.
I missed the last episode last Friday, but even so, I don't think this will be a romance. In fact I think she meets someone else. I may be wrong.

K-Drama: 스타의 연인 (Celebrity Lover/Star's Lover)
Eun young is too independent to end up withChul Soo..Mari on the other hand has always relied on someone else to care and make decisions for her and Chul Soo fits that criteria perfectly.
I do think that FL Woojin was/is in love with Mari but his guilt and illness will not let him move closer to her. Accepting the money long ago because he felt he had nothing to offer her or a way to support her indicated his lack of confidence and self worth and although he has become a renowned photographer his guilt and feelings of unworthiness when placed next to Chul Soo's character seem all the more magnified.

Re: K-Drama: 스타의 연인 (Celebrity Lover/Star's Lover)
I thought I had read that this one was completely filmed before it aired. I find that hard to believe, so maybe I'm mis-remembering. It's almost like there were two (or more?) different writers on this one. A lot of inconsistencies.
I still want a copy--it's one of the best jobs CJW has done, as far as her character is concerned, IMO. (OK, brad6, we all have our favorites!)

Hyena, :-)
Well I keep missing this drama and so have not seen every episode. I did watch tonight and I agree that this role has been well played by CJW.
Even tho she does a lot of crying scenes she does not go OTT as in the past. I am constantly surprised at how she can look so young and girlish in some scenes with little makeup it would seem. This is a star part for her I think. Kudos to her.
I don't think this is a very good drama ,only because it is going on far too long in some of the story lines. The action in the place where Chul lives never seems to have much point to it. I would think the sister would have gone to US with her mother at least three episodes ago. I also don't understand why the Woo Jin who is merging his company has not done something with the incriminating evidence re Suh that the other Woo Jin gave him. Finally the gormless reporter friend has done something that might get Suh unmasked at last.

Re: K-Drama: 스타의 연인 (Celebrity Lover/Star's Lover)
LOL I am now going to reveal my gender bias! It doesn't bother me when the women cry, well, not too much. But the men! In my life, I think I've seen one man cry--my nephew when his grandmother died. Not that they shouldn't cry. However, everyone cries too much in these dramas, every one. Mostly I blame the directors. For the most part, the actors do what the directors ask. I'm not sure how much input Korean actors have on the set.
The two criers I'm really tired of on this one--Chulsu and Eun yong. (me, too, brad6--Chulsu walks into his room and stops, carrying on all his conversations with his back turned to the other person--couldn't they come up with some other scenario?? Maybe he could have stood on the bed!)
Laughers--did you notice the hair of the girl agent--she spends a supposedly passionate night with the guy and her hair is still pinned up and neat!! LOL
And FL Woojin--did you see the jeans he was wearing!!???? They had "smiley" patches on the backs of the legs! LOL LOL ROTF At first, I thought they were holes (well, actually, I won't tell you what I thought!), but it looked like patches in a later scene. Yeesh, the stuff people wear nowadays that is supposed to be fashionable. I guess my parents said the same about my generation. LOL

I went back and watched the 2nd episode. Totally different. Some mystery, something in the background that viewers haven't been let in on, even the characters had a bite to them that made them much more interesting. Somewhere along the line, the plot just took a left turn. Even the characters are different.

I read somewhere ( I don't remember where anymore) that the writer had almost walked out of the set because of the disagreements with the PD. I wonder if this contributes to many inconsistencies in SL. I personally still love the series in spite of the poorly developed storyline.
