Re: K-Drama: 아내의 유혹 (Lure of Wife/Temptation of Wife)

This is by far the most unbelievable drama I've ever watched.

I have decided that I'm about too through with EJ. She has hurt so many people by her obsession with revenge. Her evil greedy MIL said she had hit Nino. There is no reason to let the little boy suffer. Of course he misses his mother!! EJ has gone too far with this. She said she wants to make her in-laws and her ex/new husband suffer and then she wants to die. If the end result is just death then just by-pass all the other crap.

I missed quite a bit last nite but got enough of it to be totally disgusted. EJ's parents see her and insist it is HER. She is letting her own parents suffer so much.

Why is EJ keeping Aeri at the salon? If it's to keep an eye on her she's doing a very poor job of it. She catches her in her office but does nothing. Then she stupidly leaves her purse on her desk and walks out. Come on... how stupid do the writers think we are?

I don't think I can stick with this until October. That is total OVER KILL!!!! END THIS (because I'm not capable of stopping myself from watching... Someone help me!!!! LOL)

Maybe Subin's Prince Charming will be introduced and she'll get to leave all of them and have a good life. I do like her character. Auntie never had the chance at a decent life. I hope she ends up okay, too.

Nsheldon,

We're up to episode 105 here. What episode are you up to?
Tonight's (Sunday) were eps 79 and 80. #80 was the one where Ari is waiting for ex and Nino at the airport. It ended with her getting a fake text saying she should leave alone.

This really feels like this is coming to a head, I can't imagine what more can happen. emoticon

I can't remember the exact wording, but his sister asked him how he wanted to leave the country with both his ex and current wife and he said something like "even on the run, I need a woman". Too funny.

This is nowhere near the end. We're up to, maybe 110 here. It just goes on and on. Ridiculous plot after ridiculous plot. You'll see. emoticon

Re: K-Drama: 아내의 유혹 (Lure of Wife/Temptation of Wife)

LOL.... It was extended? That's so ridiculous for a drama that is almost unbearable to watch (and yet I do).

The funniest (supposed to be serious) was Aeri getting the idiot ex (both her and EJ's ex) to agree to leave the country with her to keep their worthless butts out of prison. But EJ manages to keep her ex (current husband) here, leaving Aeri waiting alone at the airport. Ex was supposed to take Nino but that didn't work out and he ends up in EJ's mom & brother's basement.

The two morons are caught hiding out in Aeri's room and they hit him over the head to knock him out and then tie him up and stuff him in the closet. Why didn't EJ's brother just have the police go to Aeri's and arrest them? Do the police do that? Or is it up to the injured parties to make the arrests?

There was a scene with EJ's MIL laying on the couch. She had demanded EJ come home early to cook and clean because 'she' wasn't feeling well. EJ sends someone over with medicine which infuriates her MIL. Anyway, the place was a mess. Looked like MIL and Nino had some sort of food fight in there. All I could do was laugh.

Isn't EJ's ex a total WORM? Trying to skip out with Aeri to save his skin. He was asking Aeri, "What should we do?" while he was shaking in his shoes.

Oh, you guys are way behind me, on this coast. There's many, many surprises and twists and turns. Wait and see what's coming up. I caught it last night and it just gets stupider and stupider. Or just more stupid. emoticon

The writers on this one are laughing up their sleeves. I can hear them saying, "Let's see what they'll buy. How far can we go? How much can Ae Ri scream?". And then they extended it!! emoticon

K-Drama: 아내의 유혹 (Lure of Wife/Temptation of Wife)

This is the worst show I have ever seen on Korean TV, but yet many are still watching it. What is the classification? Is it a spoof, a farce, a melodrama, or a joke on the viewers who still watch it and hate it?

This one, to me at least, is like an American soap opera. You can miss a lot of episodes and then tune in and catch up in one scene. Same thing over and over again. I catch it by accident once a week, maybe, but no matter how many episodes I miss, the one constant is EJ trying to get retribution and Ae Rie screaming.

A joke on the viewers who still watch it and hate it. That's my choice on all of the choices offered.

Re: K-Drama: 아내의 유혹 (Lure of Wife/Temptation of Wife)

I was checking out the viewer ratings in Korea and this drama ranged between 29–39% share of the audience (mostly over 30%). This is huge! From what I've read, it was a drama that they 'loved to hate' and was seen more as a spoof than anything else. So outrageous that it was funny and was seen more as a cult drama, not a serious one.
