I was checking out the viewer ratings in Korea and this drama ranged between 29–39% share of the audience (mostly over 30%). This is huge! From what I've read, it was a drama that they 'loved to hate' and was seen more as a spoof than anything else. So outrageous that it was funny and was seen more as a cult drama, not a serious one.
Spoof is the perfect word!
I think this drama came at just the right time.... people are using it as an escape from the bad economy, tensions between N/S Korea, etc.
I felt soooo bad for Auntie last night. Her world was totally taken away from her.

Re: K-Drama: 아내의 유혹 (Lure of Wife/Temptation of Wife)
Yes, poor aunt. But isn't she a riot? She pops into scenes from out of no where. Such fun. It was hysterical when she told Gyo Bin she not only played with the tofu, but she stepped on it with her feet and spit into it! Oh . . . yuck! Most deserving for creep. It was good to see him smearing dirt on his face, just as EJ did when he sent her packing. Perhaps aunt will be the person to seal the fates that slam the prison doors on Aeri and Gyo-Bin. After all, there was in fact a murder, the baby, which cannot be dismissed, not to mention the attempted murder on EJ.
The twists and turns are interesting. Just when it appears things are heading in one direction, they veer off into another scenario as EJ's revenge unravels. EJ is driving Ae ri crazy. Get that straight jacket ready!

Though, kept them apart from having sex which I didn't think EJ could get out of this time. That marriage has not been consummated which may help EJ get out of the marriage easily.

star1: straight jacket? I think we need that plus a tranquilizer gun-hah-hah-hah-. I've been enjoying this show-don't care if it's over the top or has a ridiculous storyline, it's just fun! BTW, I'm in Marion, Southern Illinois right now visiting my dad. I've been missing kdrama the last three days-anyone knows if I can watch them on regular tv, or cable here? Otherwise, Ill be having withdrawal symptoms in the next few days (or until I get back to California on the 30th).

Thanks, nchristi, we do have internet access, but I don't like watching online. Guess I'll just keep reading everyone's posts, and catch up with everything when I get back home.

Agree -- this is simply fun -- enjoyable, never totally predictable and never leaves me with a heavy heart.
Also like all the actors. Oh, and let's not forget the fashions -- very cool.
