star 1..The actress playing Lady Min had played this type of character before where the character was also very controlling and vicious. The story was about an adopted daughter.

pali You are so right! Light bulb moment here.
Now, two dramas come to mind: one where she died in a fire and daughter was played by same actress playing EJ ( Mermaid I believe). Just happened to see that expensive DVD set at video store, along with some new drama featuring same actress; 2d was a daily drama with adopted daughter who had eye transplant from birth daughter.

I think the greatest revenge in this situation would be Eun Jae and her family living well, successfully (fromt he help they receive from Mrs. Min) and at peace. Trying to destroy another in response to the treatment you received only brings you more pain but I can understand Eun Jae's belief that she has to take the law into her own hands as she has seen how the power of money works. Will she truly be happy in the end? Her inner character will have to make a dramatic shift (become more like her mom and less like her dad I suppose) and this, IMO, will be another loss for her. Although she appeared as a doormat when married to the loser, in the right home and with a loving faithful husband, she would be a gem.

Hello Kdrama Family,
Curly carrot, I couldn't agree more. Winning isn't winning if you have to give up too much. Here Eun Jae is giving up the essence of who she is. Can't be good. I think she's going down the wrong road for retribution.
After her terrible treatment at the hands of these losers, I understand why she'd want revenge. Letting them stew in their own juices and moving on to live a good, successful life with her family would fry their butts anyway. She doesn't need all of this subterfuge to accomplish this. But then we wouldn't have all of this drama.
This is still one of the worst I've seen and I watch it because its so ludicrous and over the top. I can't wait to see what the next ridiculous storyline is. I know its supposed to be serious, but I can't take it as such. Plus the cast, except for a couple of good actors, is so sub par in looks and experience, it adds to the farce. An added bonus. I feel bad for the veterans, but at least they're working.

Have only seen bits and pieces of this drama. It is really a comedy isn't it ?? On drugs or something. It is too bad to be a serious piece of writing.

its so absurd that if the writers were going for a serious piece of drama, they totally missed their mark. I became hooked because of the this. Its so preposterous, its laughable.
Remember in Mel Brook's play, The Producers, Springtime For Hitler In Germany? How it became a hit, in spite of itself? Well, this is nowhere near as lofty as Mel Brook's writing, but its in the same ridiculous vein. Go figure anyone would watch this! And yet, I watch it, shaking my head the whole time. One silly and unbelievable scenario after the other. One horrible, ignorant character after the other. No redeeming grace. I'm just waiting for the car to smash into the lamppost, waiting for all of them to be wiped out in one fell swoop. If that doesn't happen, I've really wasted my time.

smoochie1...THE PRODUCERS is a musical. The success of the show had to do with the inventive choreography, direction and acting as well as the writing. Comparing the two is like comparing apples and lemons.
This so called drama has little to do with quality.

The Producers was originally a movie which I loved. I wondered how it could be transformed into a musical for the stage- a very successful musical, which I have not seen.
