Yes I think that photo of Jisub is one of the nicest I have seen. I like him clean shaven. He really is hiphop guy but everyone sees him as a tragic romantic. Just a good actor can do that..

About C&A, I was also disappointed too that it's hardly an appropriate one for SJS's first drama upon his return. He deserved much better one. The story was so far fetched and the quality of the production was below par. However I did not think SJS's acting was one dimensional, on the contrary, I thought Shin Hyun Joon was having the same expression all through the drama except when he was crying. SJS started with being a naive happy person through the hardship in China to the days he found out the facts of his parents' death and why his brother tried to eliminate him and his changes were visible. Especially the part in China, he was so confused..., the acting was great.
I think the surgery he performed on SW and left some portion of the tumor untouched was because if he did take out the whole tumor, then SW would be like his father, paralyzed. That's the reason Cho In was against SW's method when operating on their father. By not wiping out the complete tumor the patient could function but with limited time. I think that's why SW was able to talk but he did not want to talk and acted like in a vegetative state until CI told him to free himself, then he broke down and cried, even moved his hand to hold CI's.
That's my take of the story.
I hope SJS's new drama will come soon and it'd better be a much nicer one.
Also, Rough Cut is really good. It is a bit violent but the acting of the two leads are very strong. I enjoyed it a lot.

Yes I think Jisub was OK with the way he played his role. He is defintiely a good actor. It was a little strange at the beginning when he was so happy and lighhearted. Have not really seen him like that before.
I also think you described his reasons for the operation he did very clearly. That is what I thought, but you described it better than I did.
Is Rough Cut going to be put on TV or will it only be available as DVD?
