star1, being sarcastic right? In light of what KBS America/KBS-LA is doing with edits since who knows when?

Anyways, the drama is a weekend drama in Korea, but for us of who receive KXLA 44.1, it will be a Mon-Thurs drama, whereas a weekend drama for those who receive KBS World on Time Warner/DISH.

Doesn't matter to me since I'll be watching the KBS World rips from Singapore to be sure of no cuts.

And a side note: now I really wish KBS-LA/KBS America on KXLA-44 hadn't done away w/ the 7:30pm timeslot daily drama, because I really want to watch the drama "Love & Obssession" (the drama that replaces "Windy City") with E-subs. A great daily drama so far (just finished its 3rd week in Korea) and I'm ever grateful to baduy over @ soompi for giving detailed episode recaps of the 1st 6 episodes.

I wonder what will be acceptable to post if we get it different times. I see it Sat/Sun. Personally it doesn't bother me if people who see it daily post. They aren't really spoilers if a lot of people see it on a different schedule, is it?

Well, since I adore Yi Pilmo AND I prefer a comedy, this one seems like a lot of fun for me. The pharmacist guy is the husband in War of Roses I think. I saw him in something else but can't think of what the heck it was...

When mom was beating the sons (in there underwear I might add) it looked like it hurt. She was really hitting them and no matter what she was using or how light it was it had to sting when it hit their bare skin.

Reporter son seems like he likes the nurse and I got the impression nurse liked the Dr (Yi Pilmo)..

Sorry, but I had to reread it twice. Then I realized it must be a "weekend" drama somewhere else.

Yes, looks like a fun one!

Re: K-Drama: 솔약국집 아들들 (My Too Perfect Sons)

Maybe I'm splitting hairs and it's time to change my view. I've always seen the "weekend dramas" (those aired in Korea on the weekends, not during weeknights) as slightly different from other prime time dramas. Just as I see the Daily Drama in our 8:25p slot as different in style/quality from the prime time ones that follow. Drama topic and quality does seem to be morphing more towards sameness these days.

My comment in the first post was in reference to KBS America/LA taking a weekend drama and showing it four nights per week—one-half episode per night. They did this with Mom's Dead Upset, Boys Over Flowers, and now this one, replacing the previous schedule where we had one drama on M-Tu, a different drama on W-Th.

Anyway, Star1, that's the reason I used the term 'weekend drama' when it will be shown here on weeknights. (No, I did not think your question was anything other than a sincere one. Please feel free to ask when you have a question. emoticon)

Re: K-Drama: 솔약국집 아들들 (My Too Perfect Sons)

Was that "Rookie" from Windy City on the blind date with the 39-year old son last night? If she's a major character in this one, I'm going to have a difficult time watching. I find that actress's nasal, whining voice so annoying I can barely stand it. It didn't help that my first exposure to her was in 50 episodes of Windy City!

Well, it's kind of different to see Lee Pilmo as a player type—if that's what he is in this one. Still, he's always good regardless of the character he plays. I don't care much for the mother in this one. The actress is okay—it's the silly, overbearing mother she plays.

Actually, I couldn't bear watching much of it last night and had to turn the channel to something more interesting. I'll watch this week but if it doesn't interest me more than my first impression, I'll probably pass on it.

Since they are showing this drama during the week we will be missing the new weeknight dramas. There are some good ones on right now in Korea.
I was really hoping to watch 남자이야기. Here is the link

I also wanted to check this one out 그저 바라 보다가, there is a familiar face in it.

This all because of the NS home shopping. I wish they would go back to the way things were before.

Hi, Glico, hope you join in the conversation again emoticon Yes, the "bottom line" (money factor) will always be the deciding factor of what is aired on television.

It's like one person from every drama is in this one.

LOL - I forgot about the chickens being killed for food.

Can you imagine the poor gal who marries the oldest and moves in and has to take care of the brothers, father and grandfather. emoticon emoticon

LOL - the poodle has pink ears.

WOW - ten years they've walked side-by-side and never spoken to each other. LOL, talk about stubborn as to who will be the first one to speak.
