K-Drama: 솔약국집 아들들 (My Too Perfect Sons)
Why do the writers have to make DP so loud and annoying in the hospital where he was just recently hired? When you're a doctor in a hospital with the supposed highly-regarded reputation, you can't go around annoying the nurses with unwanted flirting or yelling at fellow doctors in public areas. I hated that scene where he's barking like a dog at Jennifer/Boksil while nurses and doctors are walking by. It's so humiliating for Jennifer. When do the writers allow DP to start to evolve from the arrogant and obnoxious person he is now into someone who Jennifer's Dad will allow to marry his precious daughter?

K-Drama: 솔약국집 아들들 (My Too Perfect Sons)
KBS has officially announced that the show will add four more episodes (total of 54).
So things may drag a little.

Poor Jinpung. It also looked like his mom will meddle in his love life. She had Gramps pick-up acorn powder (which means an impending wedding?) and she calls the teacher JP dated a couple of times. This is the part where I wonder why JP didn't tell his parents/Gramps he's dating Sujin so there won't be any misunderstandings, but that would make for a boring/non-existent storyline. Now JP's mom is practically planning the wedding with the teacher behind JP's back.

Alright, tonight's episode is why I get so frustrated with writers.
Sujin sees the teacher come out of a local market and sees her stop to look for JP in the pharmacy, then continues to walk towards JP's home when she doesn't see him. Sujin "naturally" thinks JP invited the teacher and has betrayed her. Boy is he going to get it from Sujin and especially Bruce if and when he finds out.
So it would be too easy for Sujin to call JP on his cell to ask him what's going on with the teacher to clear up any misunderstanding. We have to see Sujin jump to conclusions to create a big mess.
At the Song home, JP gets to the dinner table and he's startled to see the teacher there.
Does he speak up and tell his family that's he's dating someone else? No, of course not. That would be too simple. We have to be subjected to another misunderstanding amongst his family. I can buy that he didn't want to say anything in front of the teacher to spare her feelings, but he should at least tell his family in private so no further misunderstandings occur to hurt anyone else. Will we see that. probably not. JP just sits silently at the dinner table.
This is where I usually jump off of a drama when the writers have to use the "misunderstanding by silence" angle. I get back on in a few episodes when the dust settles.

I look forward to the extra four episodes as well BUT they don't alwyas mean more great entertainment.
For example, take "My Precious You" the extra four episodes were a real drag (and I LOVE LTR). They could have ended that one on time rather than throwing one more stupid obejct in the path of the main characters. As one of my old bosses used to say "if you had given me more time I could have made it shorter!"
