K-Drama: 솔약국집 아들들 (My Too Perfect Sons)
Well there are plenty of ways to write Hana's father out of the script -- if that is what they want. Best way is to have him get a new girl friend who doesn't want to raise someone else's infant. But you are correct IMO that Mom would NEVER let Mipung marry Hana's mom.
DP needs to forget about Bokshil and start courting Jennifer. HE can't have his puppy back and should be happy to get a real woman instead.
Looks like teacher lady will be another casualty in all this. I wonder what will happen when JP finally figures out that his Mom interfered with his relationship with Sujin? What will he do?

Maybe the school teacher (who does seem to be very nice) could hook up with Brutus (aka Bruce). Then she could kindly teach him and his son who has been having trouble in school as well. What will happen to Miran?

Dad may be the "neighborhood drunk," but he is certainly taking good care of sons. He is giving DP very wise advice on how to win Jennifer back and it looks like he is going to get Sujin back into the picture. I even think he did the right thing in sending Soonpung to live with Eunji's parents.
It is sure heartbreaking (a least a three-hanky-cry everythime they are on scene together) to see Jipung and Sujin love each other from afar. I'll be glad when that situation is put to right.
DP will never get Jennifer until he can look her in the eye and say "I love you" like he really means it.
I am puzzeled by the elders ignoring the Mipung/ Hana's mom relationship. Not sure you can put two unrelated teenagers together uner the same roof without hormones starting to drive the situation. Hana's mom certainly needs some TLC to bring out her basic goodness and talent and Mipung is a senstive loving boy -- but they are very young. You'd think big Mama would be watching her youngest chick to make sure a loose and destitute woman, like Hana's Mom, doesn't snap him up.
Cultural Note: What is translated into English as I "like" you means a good deal more in Korean -- closer to (but not quite) I "love" you. It is hard to translate the degree of closeness involved sort of like "I love you, but not yet enough to marry or sleep with you."
