Re: K-Drama: 찬란한 유산 (Brilliant Legacy)
Agree -- this is good drama.
Stage is set now for all intrigue as indicated in synopsis . . . "Jang Sook-ja makes up her mind to appoint Eun-seong as the heir of her food company and brings her home..."
Thank goodness! Hope it doesn't take too long for all that to get underway, cuz the grandson and his mom/sister should all be thrown to the curb. Hope grandmother remembers every awful thing they said about her as they discussed her dying and what they'd do with her money. It'll be satisfying to watch grandson grovel for the money he once threw at people as he stepped all over them. Aja, aja grandmother!!! Oh, grandmother, could you also buy a piano for ES's bro.?
Wonder how many episodes this will run. Maybe when Temptation is over, they'll switch this to Sat, Sun.

K-Drama: 찬란한 유산 (Brilliant Legacy)
I've finished this drama and highly recommend it. It's sweet, funny and extremely HEARTwarming.
If you do not mind spoilers, I've recapped it up to Ep 22: http://www.thundie.wordpress.com
Love Bae Soo-bin in this, but grew to really love Lee Seung-gi's character as he changes.

Re: K-Drama: 찬란한 유산 (Shining Inheritance / Brilliant Legacy)
Yes, Eun-woo was left at an orphanage. There was a sign in Korean outside the gate. The translation on the screen was something like "Home of Angels." I might have seen this in a fan-subbed version, as the network e-subs rarely seem to translate signs, titles of important documents and things like that. Then, too, we did see an elderly woman come out the next morning, finding Eun-woo huddled on the step and you could tell she was a warm, caring sort of person.
I presume this is why Evil Step-mom took Eun-woo to her hometown. As cold and cruel as she is, she still wanted to leave EW in a decent place where he would be cared for—a place she was familiar with. I would be dying a thousand deaths thinking he was just dumped somewhere out on a lonely dark road! Thank goodness we have a little peace of mind over his plight.
And I must say again, that the young man playing Eun-woo is just superb. He's done a lot of prep for this role and has nailed it. In thinking back to other young actors, there have been a lot of good performances but I think this might be the finest I've seen to date from someone so young. Besides that, he looks so darn sweet and lovable. I just want to grab him and hold him tight! LOL!

Re: K-Drama: 찬란한 유산 (Shining Inheritance / Brilliant Legacy)
I recall woman who saw boy sitting by orphanage gate saying she wondered what he was doing there since it was closed . . . so did person who found him next morning take care of him? Would she know him from earlier days? Did she feed him and try to get help, or did she send him on his way?
Also, because he has excellent memorization skills, he could probably find his way out of there since he appeared to be noting every detail on bldgs, etc., as he was being driven there by evil stepmom. Stepmom can change all the phone numbers and addresses she pleases, however, he can read off her license plate to police.
