Sounds interesting. Hopefully, it's well-written & acted...unlike The Road Home, which I gave up on. I do recognize Park Hae Mi, from My Precious You, as Sera's mother and I like her in that one.

Thanks for the write-up, nchristi...will keep my eye on this one.

Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)

Just a note that a very beloved former President of So. Korea unexpectedly died yesterday afternoon. I don't know how (or if) this will affect tonight's programming (or the rest of the week for that matter), but don't be surprised if we have some pre-empting going on.

Well, whenever this one begins, I'm looking forward to it! I especially like one of the lead actresses—the actress who is currently playing the enemy Empress of Liao in Iron Empress. This new drama looks like a high-energy production. I hope we have singing and dancing. So many of the actors/actresses we see in K-drama are richly talented in theatrical skills. Musical stage productions have become immensely popular in Korea the last few years, so maybe it's finally showing up in our K-dramas, too.

Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)

Keeping my fingers crossed that this one is going to pick up. Episode #1 was about as opposite as you can get from the opening credits. I kept having the thought, Oh, please, don't let this be another "Windy City." There are some good actors here, but too much trite and cliché stuff—like the rich and spoiled daughter (who can't act her way out of a paper bag) arriving at the airport and the token run-in with the truck driver who, I'm sure, is destined to become her true love. (Is he the actor who was in Vineyard?)

I got the feeling from the low-budget production values that this drama is a victim of the economic recession. Even so, I give even the worst 'dogs' a few weeks to get started and catch on. We shall see...

Yes, he is the actor from Vineyard Man... Loved him in that. There were so many familiar faces...

Was the lady (the one in Iron Empress) also in Princess Hours as the mother of the crown prince's cousin?

Also, is the young girl who was a boss or something at that company the same girl that was the sister of That Fool? She looks familiar too. She was walking with her arm in that guys arm... Was he Suin's husband in Road Home? LOL... I'm getting everyone mixed up...

It always takes me a few epidodes to get the characters and family relationships set. Then I can focus on plot. Yes, the airport meetup is cliched as is spoiled rich girl.

All I know is...Oh Man Seok is in this drama.!!! I do hope he will have a role that lets him smile a lot. He is heavenly when he smiles. He is the most underrated actor I think.
I have only seen part of the beginning ,so will hold any criticisms and watch a few episodes. Did not really like the rich girl set up at the airport. So very Cliche. We shall see what will happen later. There is bound to be a triangle love don't you think?

Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)

A lot of familiar faces in this one.

Han Jin Kyung (Park Han Byul) and Kang Na Yoon ( Jo An) both made their debuts in the horror movie "Wishing Stairs"

Na Eun Hye (Lee Eung Kyung, was the team manager in Windy City)

Lee Han (Lee Joong Moon, was creepy boyfriend of Dan Pung in Likeable or not and is just as creepy here)

Kim Young Ok-grandmother of Sua in Likeable or not
Oh Man Suk-Man in the Vineyard

and Park Hae Mi from My Precious You who has already been identified

The production values also struck me as low budget. The two widows seem to be the most interesting part of the cast. Already I have the feeling the Na Yoon's mother is not her biological mother-has to be at least one secret at birth in every daily drama-right?
