Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)
Unless I've missed something, I thought Cheol is just trying to gather information about the family ties between Mr. CEO and Jinwu's family so he can force Nayun to marry him. If Nayun is a blood relative of Jinwu's, it is not socially acceptable for them to marry. (Perhaps not legally acceptable, either.) Even if they are related only through marriage (as they seem to be), such a coupling also would be highly frowned upon there.
I wonder what Cheol thinks about marrying a relative of his brother Han's wife, since by Cheol's reasoning Nayun and Mudfish are cousins? That's basically the same relationship as Nayun with Jinwu.
My take on Granny's reaction to Ms. Mechanic and Junwu wasn't that she was angry as much as she was hurt. It kind of puts an end to Granny's son, Taesu, if his widow remarries and moves on in life. But the good thing about Granny is that she is a reasonable, loving sort of person. Even if she isn't ecstatic about Ms. Mechanic marrying, she does not oppose it or say mean things. And Suhyun was able to help that situation by comforting Granny. They are really the two individuals that Ms. Mechanic needs approval from the most... her MIL and her daughter. Since Suhyun is so approving, Granny will be the same.
I thought it was really smart and loving of Suhyun to skillfully get that wedding ring off her mother's finger. And then honor it by wanting to keep it for herself. Ms. Mechanic would never be able to remove that ring on her own and as long as she wears it, she will never allow herself to be free to marry Junwu. Smart and loving girl, that Suhyun.

I wonder if Mr. CEO and/or Mrs CEO will see Ms. Mechanic's wedding ring on Suhyun's finger. I remember that Mrs. CEO took special notice of the ring on Ms. Mechanic's finger on one of her visits to the car repair shop.

I don't like Junwu, he's so aggressive. I can't stand those kind of men.

Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)
NSheldon, I could not have put it any better. If Junwu did not press his intention Ms Mechanic would not have really noticed him. Junwu is a very substantcial man, meaning, he is well respected in this field of endevor (cartoonist) a collage graduate, a successful comic book author, etc etc etc. I just absolutly love Junwu chubby cheeks. As an Italian grandmother I just want to pinch them.
Its that creep Cheol that I cant stand. Nayun knows the kind of man he is and she understands that the only reason he is interested in her is because he wants the company. Nayun has his number and she will deal with him accordingly.
Mrs CEO is really going to have to explain her action. Mr CEO will get his memory back and that is when the sparks will fly (I am sure) He has a Mother and his 1st wife took care of his family very well. That is going to be interesting. I dont think Mr CEO will leave Mrs CEO.

I agree nsheldon, by the time the last episode plays, all will be forgiven, and after all the misery, everyone will be smiling. Maybe some day, the kdramas will punish the evil doers. I don't believe that will happen in this drama. I would like to see Mr and Mrs CEO stay together with one little tweek--Mrs CEO will be condemned to think of the pain she caused her husbands first family every day for the rest of her life. Cheol will be punished by having to live with his father forever. Dad's authoritarian attitude should take care of Cheol's punishment

Cheol`s true nature should come as real shock to his Father, although he probably suspects something isn`t right in the relationship with Nayun. I wonder how much Cheol will tell Nayun about her Father. Since there isn`t a blood relationship with her,Mr.CEO being Jinwu`s Uncle shouldn`t make a difference.

Re: K-Drama: 다함께 차차차 (Everybody Cha Cha Cha / Jolly Widows)
Well, Cheol doesn't even care anymore if Nayun knows he doesn't care for her. She also knows all he wants is her parents (mother's) company. He is such a snake.
Nayun and Jinwu are planning to marry without the families there to bless them. But I feel like that snake will do something to stop them.
Why can't Nayun agree to go to Cheol's for dinner and then tell his dad, "I do not love your son and will never marry him, nor will I agree to go w/him abroad. I love Jinwu and even if I could never be with Jinwu, I would never ever marry that creep that you call your son"... She can say that in a very sweet way so as not to offend Cheol's dad... LOL
Poor Junwu is trying so hard to please Grandma and Dongja. Both seemed very uneasy and unwelcoming when he showed up. They both act to petty. I don't care what Dongja says, she is put out because they will be losing a paycheck. Let her go out and get a job and let Granny do some cooking. The family can all pitch in to help at home.
Ms CEO's snooping around just caused her to get caught by Jinwu. She sees that ring on Suhyeong's finger and HAS to go to the garage to verify whether Ms Mechanic is still wearing her wedding ring. If not then she will be happy that Ms Mech is moving on.
It's horrible how Ms CEO is manipulating the lives of others, and keeping her husband from his mother and daughter. How dare she!!
I thought this was supposed to be a light romantic comedy. The way it starts out with all the singing and dancing you'd think we were gonna have fun....
