Thanks ccwf!!

I want them to show Agri and Tengoku e no kaidan and even Younger Man again. I wonder what a chance Agri has for re-airing.

NHK is showing "Agri" again since October, I guess.
And Churasan was aired again too, but I'm not sure if they've shown Churasan 1 or 2.

Re: Useful J-Drama Links

Just reminding everyone of a tip I learned from a friend of mine: even if you can't read the language (in this case, Japanese), often the URLs are in English. So, move your mouse over the links and an English name might appear.

For example, if you to the archives of NHK's most requested lists in the first post and move the mouse around to all the links, you'll see that the URL for the page of most requested shows by genre is http://web.archive.org/web/20040210225723/www.nhk.or.jp/tv50/archives/req_rank/genre.html. This page lists most requested morning dramas, most request taiga dramas, and so forth. (But, of course, that page has all the show names in Japanese. emoticon)

Re: Useful J-Drama Links

I really liked the Good Luck website. Really nice. Too bad not all the other dramas get these nice fan-sites. Does anyone know of any for Trick?

I think Churasan was the series that ran just before Honmamon - meaning it ran last year. Churasan was quite good. I doubt they'll ever re-run it, though emoticon but there was talk of a "Churasan 2" in the works. Sure hope it comes to America someday.
Sakura ran after Churasan here in southern california. That's why it took me a few weeks to get into Sakura since I had a miserable Churasan hangover from which I've never completely recovered. Even today I miss Churasan. I could easily watch it once every 2 years or so. I've even bought the 2005 Kuninaka Ryoko calender and her photo book and her Furusato CD and her promo CD.

I remember when I was on a Tengoku e no kaidan hangover in August 2003... I told myself I was not going to watch Trick, the new drama, but I did and it became my new favorite! More recently, I've had a Mars hangover, so I vowed not to watch any more Chinese martial arts/historical dramas (unless they were about the post-1911 period like Last Empress).
