I missed the Kdrama fan meeting from last year and this year-too and even Jdrama!

I was just checking to see if there are going to be any more Obons held in Southern California, and it seems that Gardena was the last one here for this year. (There's one next weekend in Las Vegas, but that's a bit too far, LOL!)

Nisei Week is going to start on August 16th in Little Tokyo.

Saturday: Gyoza Eating Contest, Concert
Sunday: JSN Summer Festival (Weller Court), Taiko Gathering, Closing Ceremony, Ondo Dancing

BTW - real late but it was great seeing two from the group at Gardena's Obon

I know, it was really fun meeting up with you guys at the Gardena obon! I can't wait for next year's obon in Gardena -- I miss the ondo dancing and that yummy chicken teriyaki already, LOL! emoticon

I hope I can go to Nisei Week in Little Tokyo. I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it, but its always nice to see the ondo and the taiko drumming there.
