The LA Times had a writeup of The Chinese Food Festival yesterday (B3).
In typical LA Times fashion they recalled the glory days of the neighborhood (before Chinatown was Chinatown) and called noodles pasta. They also made sure to make fun of chicken feet, jellyfish and 1,000-year-old egg.
Yes, Virginia, parochialism lives on at the Times but written so feyly it warrants another Pulitzer.

On July 3, GR2 will host the 10 year exhibition. Pieces from numerous artists around the world will be on display.
