What Kind of American English Do You Speak?
What Kind of American English Do You Speak?
My results: class ul class li 45% General American English class li 30% Yankee class li 15% Dixie class li 5% Upper Midwestern class li 0% Midwestern class li 5% OtherYou can leave items unanswered if no responses seem appropriate. In that case, the percentages will not add up to 100%. (Hence, my 5% Other.)

It's been discovered you don't have to answer every question if a question seems to have no appropriate answers. In this case, the percentages will not add up to 100%.
I've retaken the test, now leaving one answer blank, and I'm down to 45% General. So, I guess, I have a 5% Other now (International English?)

Hmmm, I seem to have a far higher Yankee percentage than anyone else. I wonder what answers caused that result. I've never lived in that area of the country.
