quote: Ethel: "So I got it slightly wrong then didn't I"
I thought the math felt a bit off... but then my always meager at best math skills are in ever more severe decline in my dotage..
And I'd have guessed the 3rd as I'm forever mixing your birthday up with that Glaswegian girl, whose birthday is the day before yours.
For some reason, (probably because you're the younger of the two) my malformed logic tells me yours should come first...

Re: When's your Birthday?
Mine is March 8th - which makes it - about right now, as my clock is five past midnight and it's always ten minutes fast...
=)
sorry - didn't mean to wander out again - it's been a pain in the .... at school with work (this ....ing board won't let me swear!!!) - and we've got major problems with one of our housemates which has been lying to all of us about all of us behind our backs, sneaking into our rooms and whatnot, so all of us lock our rooms now even if we just go down to the loo and don't talk to him - we contacted the landlady and hope we will get him out in the next four weeks - still it's really uncanny - I never felt the need to lock my door at night and I am bony, but tough and usually not easily afraid - my other girl housemate is petite and really delicate and she feels actually rather afraid of him. He hasn't tried anything so far except for slandering people behind their backs, messing up the house, making noise to wake people up and stuff - while all the time smiling and pretending to be totally innocent and rather making us all turning against each other instead of accusing him - but there has been more stuff lately, even more personal, which leads to all of us feeling a bit paranoid.
Well - yeah - that's why I haven't been around much - psychological stress leaves me sort of emotionally and physically drained sometimes, even though I try to ignore the f...er,
(WHY can't I swear here???! =)

Re: When's your Birthday?
*agrees with both of the above*
I can never understand why people will behave like that and act all innocent - do they actually think they won't get caught out in the end? Mind you, to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure I'd ever want to understand how someone like that's mind works...
Hopefully you'll be rid of him sooner rather than later.

Re: When's your Birthday?
I've lived next door to an entire household of people like that for seven years and I've come to this conclusion.
It's a combination of being self-absorbed, immature, thoughtless, selfish and totally lacking in the social skills required to lead one to have empathy and consideration for others in civilized society.
I lay most of the blame on how these people were raised.
Garbage in, garbage out as they say..
In most cases if you are raised to be this way, then that is how you will be as an adult.
I believe most people like this stop maturing emotionally and intellectually in their teens..
My next-door-heathens are in their late 20's to mid 30's but act like 15 year olds.
But then their parents act the same way so what can you expect?
How pathetic and sad are 30 year olds with children who still spend their summers getting as drunk and stoned as possible ... outside in full public view, while listening to insanely loud music.
Most civilized people that age would be ashamed and embarrassed to have the police show up just once for a noise compliant.
These idiots have the police show up about once a week all summer long.. sometimes more than once in a 24 hour period and it doesn't faze them a bit..
It's how you're raised ..
If you're raised as gutter trash with no class or manners, then that is how you will act in normal society.

Re: When's your Birthday?
Heavens those heathen are still living there? I assumed they would have burnt the place to the ground by now... or some other manner of distruction.
My birthday has always been November 16. Only thing different about it is I hit the big 40 last go-round.
