It's a britcom people seem to either love or hate.
The biggest knock against it was that it was too 'American' in style..
I didn't think so. I found it very British.
I found the later seasons quite boring.. but I quite enjoyed the first few years.
Especially seasons 1 and 2.. with the original *Daughter from Hell* 'Jenny' (Clare Woodgate aka Georgina Cates).
Her of the huge fringe and hormones gone wild.
She even looked remarkably like Belinda Lang (who played her mother Bill)
I never really took to Jenny #2 (Clare Buckfield).
I don't know why..
I am definitely in the minority in this though.
The vast majority of viewers preferred Jenny 2 over Jenny 1.
Gee.. it's like Ethel 1 and Ethel 2 eh? heh..
The character 'Rona' (Bill's slutty friend from across the street) was great the first few seasons as well..
But in later seasons she - or rather the actress who played her .. (Julia Hills) - looked increasingly bored and tired of it all.
The whole series was well out of gas imho the last 2 series...
