My cat Awen is death
Today I went to ten vet with Awen. She hadn't eaten something in the last 3 days and wasn't at the cat WC. Today she was in pain. The diagnos of the vet was that here kindes stpped working. There wasn't a cure who promised to be sucessfull. So I let him put here down. She is in the cat hevan now. And I see here and Holly again when I'm death.

I feel terrible. Next weekend I visit my perents. It's my pa's 80 birthday. Next week I visit the shelter. I need a cat. I know it won't be Awen and I really will miss her, even an other cat is there. But the silence in my flate drives me crasy. I can't live without an animal anymore.

There are always plenty of cats that need good homes, and you are the perfect person to provide them. They are all different personalities and wont replace Arwen or Holly, but will join your life and provide you love and joy in their own way. It is a good decision you have to go ahead and find that special new cat, it is waiting for you. Blessings of the Mother to you and your new friend.

I know she had the tim of her live in my flat. And she loved me very much and I loved her. If there where been an other way to help her I had done it. Unfortunately it wasn't. I was on her side as long as it was possible for me. I know it was right to let her go. Now I'm crying and also I'm looking for a new purring room mate. On Monday I'm having a appointment with the first shelter (the one where Arwen was from), on Tuesday with the second (the one where Holly was from) - it might be that I find a cat so fast, but it's OK for the shelters when I com 2 or 3 times.

I think Patricia put it perfectly there. Your new cat won't replace Arwen in your heart, but will take their own unique place instead. He or she will give you a lot of comfort and help you through losing Arwen as well. Whatever cat ends up finding you will be a really lucky kitty.

We welcome these creatures into our lives knowing they will pass much sooner than we would like. Some people say they cannot bear to bring another animal home. But I will always have them, until I know I can no longer care properly for them. Then I will grieve deeper for my loss, and the little animals who still need homes.

Gee, I'm not sure what more I can add to this. Everyone has said it better than I ever could.
I remember when you first got Arwen. We were all pretty excited that you were able to get and keep a cat.
