Today I was with Iona in the garden. She was wearing a Cat leash. I sugest she had known it. Still when an other person came in, she was afraid and want to go back in the flat. (The Cat leash did its work outhersides I had loost my cat)
In one of the next days we start the next outdor time....

Re: Picture of Iona
I think that Iona will get use to the outdoors and other people if you continue to take things slowly like you have been Claudia, but I would never have thought of a cat leash. That's a good idea.

Re: Picture of Iona
I used to use a cat leash on my rabbit that I used to have (he had outgrown his rabbit harness by this point). Apparantly rabbits weren't supposed to like the harnesses, but mine didn't mind at all. He was exceptionally tame and loved human company, mind!
Sounds like you're getting on great with Iona! In a few months time it'll feel like she's been with you forever

Re: Picture of Iona
Iona and Chicko met
This morning I wasn't fast enough and Chicko shooed into my flat. He neded 1 minute to come in and 2 seconds to went out. Iona turned into a wild cat and started to attak him. She hissed, yelled and had shown her claws.... Just like the people from the shelter sayed: She dosen't like other cats.
After that she tried to scare away me. Of course she wasn't successful by that. Still she was sitting under a shelf and tried to attack my legs when I pased. Unfortunately she was very talented in doing so.
Now, after I came home, she is nearly like ever. Only a litle bit angry because she doesn't purr when I'm crawling her pelt and I don't get a kiss.
