Lee Child

My current addiction - trashy thrillers by Lee Child featuring superhuman hero Jack Reacher:

Reacher Info

Something about my degree fried my brain so bad that I can't help but enjoy the really over the top crime novels. I love them...

So bad they're good - and the guy at least has the decency to pack in the weird plot twists to keep you guessing!

Re: Lee Child

I am ashamed to admit that I haven't read a new book in about 10 years. :blush1:
Only technical manuals and 'how-to' things.
But as a weak defense, my eyesight has been getting progressively worse each year during that time..

:mkay1:

Oh bollocks. I just don't have the time anymore..

I suppose re-reading the Lord Of the Rings trilogy, the Silmarillion , the Book of Lost Tales (1 & 2), The Lays of Beleriand, The Quenta Ambarkanta and the Lost Road during the release of the LOTR films doesn't count eh?

Thought not.. emoticon

I did read 'The Children of Hurin' online as an e-book when it came out last year...

But that's not really 'reading-a-book' ... is it...

No..

*sigh*

 :twitch:

Re: Lee Child

It does seem to get harder to find the time. What with working and household chores. Now that I am semi-retired I can get in some new reading way more often. It is quite a pleasure. If you don't mind a messy home, that is. One must prioritize, after all. Let's see here, time with hubby, cat affection and care, Sunday roast, cooking a few nice meals a week, plant care, exercise, laundry...reading!

Fantastic pic. I like it. I think one of my friends should get it as PC wallpaper.
