ForgottenBooks.org - 1700+ free online books.
Site navigation can be a bit squirrely.. Deliberately made so I think.
The object is obviously to get you to buy the paperback versions of the free ebooks.
But all the ebook versions are full and complete - no previews or excerpts - and are 100% free...
I found 'The Worm Ouroboros (1922)' by ER Eddison there..

We specialize in historical writings, this includes works such as: classical fiction, philosophy, science, religion, folklore, mythology and sacred texts, in addition to secret and esoteric subjects, such as: occult, freemasonry, alchemy, hermetic and ancient knowledge. Fiction and non-fiction books.
It is our mission to find hidden knowledge and preserve lost knowledge, from antiquity to the present day, and make this information freely available to the world..

Similar thing....
It's not all that pretty, but I've found some stuff I needed, and it's free.
It's not as nice as real books though.
