Re: Antivir

Kaspersky solved all of my problems, thank goodness.
What happened was that my brother was on Facebook and a worm drilled itself into my files and folders, and showed itself into the menu bar as a personal virus page with the all the fixings to solve the problem. Not quite like this, but something like it.
Image A pop-up , every few minutes, would come on stating that I had a virus and that the only way to solve it was to purchase their product. Very convenient right? Of course I became suspicious and tried to remove it from my computer. But it was a pain to even start. So my bro just bought a new version of Kaspesky-(stupidly I had let the original run out until I could afford another version and ran with a trial version which will not protect you from worms). Things are great now and the computer is running fine and finally got rid of that damn virus.
I didn't mean to sound like a alarmist, but I do appreciate all the help everyone. But beware of anything like my brother and myself had to go through.
