I don't believe you! It looks like it's done by your personal friend, Ari "FloorTech" Kekkonen, and it looks slightly modified. How do you wire a floor like that anyway???

Ari has installed all Blackmore's floors since 1975.
I know there's a business called "Made in Japan Floor Laminate" selling "the Ritchie Blackmore Floor Control" unit which he claims radically changes the feel and sound of your floor to match that of Blackmore's floors but I find that dubious marketing, because they have nothing to do with Blackmore. MIJFL also say Ari has merely polished Blackmore's floors, not installed them. Some people say MIJFL's product is just a copy of Ari's work. As someone bound to believe everything I read, I suppose it might be true to some extent.
I have not tested MIJFL's products so I can't tell. Nor have I been to Blackmore's house(s), but Blackmore is on record saying Ari worked on his floors. He might be lying though. However, the wiring and the action of tone knobs remain a secret, until Ari publishes his book & DVD. Meanwhile, we're stuck with this photo and Blackmore's word as evidence.

Re: What guitar(s) do you guys use?
About my Mex. Blackmore strat:
changed the pick ups back, from FLS to the SD quarterpounders. Yesterday I was watching Live Between The Eyes and I saw Blackmore playing on a strat with a greenish scratchplate (on the sleeve of the Perfect Strangers album you can also see that strat with the greenish scratchplate and it looks so good, so I have now such a scratchplate installed too.
It doesn't affect the sound that much , but it has very great looks. I'll post photos later on.

Re: What guitar(s) do you guys use?
Stratman
I have gone through a mint green scratchplate phase as well. I own 3. Some or whiter than others. The more white the better. Im still searcing for the perfect mint white tone. I quite like the off white and parchment ones too. Check out the photos of my soundclick page and you will see what it looks like on the 72 CIJ reissue. Im still not sure about it. It does look different to anyone elses guitar so is quite individualistic but in a blackmorish way. Thats because the guitar is a cream colour compared to the olympic white of the MIM in the blackmore strat which I also own. It might look better in the MIM axe. Im also getting a black scratchplate as well. Think this would look better the MIM. I know Im really sad with this. Its almost like dressing a barbie doll!
I would like to acheive the same look as the guitar you mentioned but it is really hard to find the right colour. Especially on the net where you cant really tell.
Have just got my new fireball pedal today. It rocks. Love it. Bernd is the Master!!!!!!!
cheers
