In a way 'yes', because I didn't see it at the time... but I suppose in another way 'no' because it's a needless alteration.

Certainly not under the Deep Purple banner. Satriani is a real good guitarist, but I don't see the purpose of replacing a good shredder by another good shredder. If you think that Morse doesn't fit Purple (*Yawn*, not my case), there's no point in having Satriani back.

I don't see any reason why it should happen.

What would be great is an official release of one of the 93 shows.

Totally and absolutely NO!! Satch is a brilliant technician like Morse but Steve does at least play with some feel where with Satch you could almost put up a giant digital display on the stage showing how many notes per second we are hearing emoticon emoticon

To be Mark 6, it would have to include Jon Lord. If it does not, than it is a new mark. If JL is there, I say YES!!

Happy with Morse. I'd rather see a tour that focused on many more songs from the past 4 albums.

I completly agree with this. Only the Satch,JLT & Mk 1 versions of DP are not represented by official live releases, & although I could live without S&M era Purple live, it would be only fair to "complete the set" as it were
