From the DPAS link below:
"This title will be shipping week starting May 18. 2009. DPAS Members are getting an automatic discount on this title which will show on their receipt. Purple Records say the digipak is limited to the first 3,000 copies and is almost sold out through pre-orders. The vinyl edition is still on the cards but a couple of months off. More details soon."

Got mine today!
The packaging and especially the booklet is 'flashier' than I expected, mostly in full colour unlike in the previous SZ CDs.

How is the sound on this release compared to the previous one? Beacuse this is one of the best Purple live show's you can buy, and it's sadly underrated! It's a testament to what a great band this line up was! I like Stormbringer on this one alot more then the mkIII versions. And Lazy is much better then what the current line-up does. Here Paicey is at his best too!

Re: Foxbat - Sonic Zoom version is selling out quickly
I've had the King Bisquit version of the show since the late 1990s, the Connoisseur version I have never heard.
I played a couple of tracks back to back with the SZ edition and while the KB version sounded more beefy than I remembered, the sound on the SZ version had more articulation and punch to it.
I wouldn't say I prefer this version of Stormbringer to the Mk3 versions, but it surely is great and one of the highlights of this CD.
Overall, I like Tokyo 1975 quite a bit more than this(* - taken as itself a very good - gig. But fortunately, we have both!
EDIT: (* The only thing I sure DON'T miss from the Tokyo show when listening to this CD is the constant screaming from DC and GH between the songs!
