Secret Deep Purple gig in Zürich last night
The band played a one-hour secret gig in the Kongresshaus Zürich last night. It was a private organisation with no tickets sold and no official announcement before the concert. You had to have purple connections to know about it and get a (free) ticket. I was lucky enough to be one of maybe 1000 people there and it was a great surprise. They rocked the house.

Blues style of guitar playing is one area where Morse is better than Blackmore.

No, he didn't copy Blackmore there. Different style here. He played a bluesy solo in his way with no fast run in there for once and it sounded very good. No surprises in the set list, they played a short greatest hits set, which was a good choice as lots of people obviously were not real fans and only knew the most famous songs. It was fun for them...
