Tony Iommi to remix Born Again

At least that's what he told that guy from Iron Maiden on his Oct.23 Friday Rock Show.
(Sorry, this episode is no longer available on line.)

Interesting!

I know I'm in the minority, but I actually like the weird sound of BA quite a bit.

When it came out, I was expecting so much from BA, that I didn't like it.
Now, I think it's one of BS's best.
Every song is great, the mood is perfect, and the sound is so awful, it's so good! emoticon

Love it! Don't touch it!

Bananas are good and good for ya!
Love obviously.

My thoughts exactly. There's something uniquely bizarre about that album that makes it so great. I don't mean 'great' in a camp manner.

Still, a remix would be interesting to hear. Make it a double set with a live disc on the side.

Why not just use the unmixed tape version instead of remixing the final product?
This way the outtake (The Fallen) would serve as a bonus track and there would be a much better vocal sound to work with in the first place. Listening to the bootleg as it is, already beats the album by far.

Am I the only one who wished for remixes of the Rainbow catalog? After hearing the Rising rough mixes recently I'm begging for such a task. Something tells me I'm dreaming though, but why? I love Blackmore but have no idea whats going on with his plans if any to do so, or why he wouldn't. All I know is that he likes to play acoustic songs with his wife.
