Just nostalgia but in 93 DP played in 9 of these towns !!
Add the well known Freiburg 91 show ...and maybe is this a way to tell us Blackmore is about to come back !!

If anyone is dead it's Deep Purple. And for a longer period of them then TMIB too.

Re: New album Tour autumn 2010?
That depends on the persons interpertation of the meaning ´´good``. No album for 4 years, same setlist for 4 years and worse and worse live shows as time goes on, Gillan sounding worse than Joeleen on her bad day, Paice playing at an all time low, etc etc. Deep Purple is dead, for me, there's only a bunch of dudes using the name to play tribute to the great songs this once great band has written.

Re: New album Tour autumn 2010?
Sure it's not like the glorius days of past, but they tour to many people that are not diehards like you and me.
The band seems happy with that and so do the great crowds they have.
Why should we be bitter about that really..
We don't own the band you know, we are supposed to be fans..
If you don't like it fine.. but others do!

Re: New album Tour autumn 2010?
Stargazerking, when did you see them for the last time ?
Oh and by the way, they did play something like 35 different songs during the Rapture Tour. If they didn't change the setlist, it would mean they play something like 3h30 each and every night. Not too bad for people in there 60's... Or maybe your statement isn't true, but would you pretend things that are not true ??

Re: New album Tour autumn 2010?
WTF is your point? What are you babbling about here look at the setlist for the past few years, specially the last two years its disaster. Whos talking about 3,30 hours, Deep Purple as a live band is dead and has been for sometime the sooner you learn to live with it the better.

I bet if things were like this - Gillan gone and Blackers onboard with 4 years without new material and touring with the same set list you still would call Purple dead, right?
