MK2 reunion albums - seven songs only
Early MK2 Purple albums always had seven tracks, so would the reunion albums be a bit stronger without the extra baggage? Though some of the leftovers could certainly make good b-sides and bonus tracks.
PERFECT STRANGERS:
Knockin' At Your Back Door
Under The Gun
Gypsy's Kiss
Perfect Strangers
Not Responsible
Wasted Sunsets
Hungry Daze
******************************************
HOUSE OF BLUE LIGHT:
Bad Attitude
The Unwritten Law
Strange Ways
The Spanish Archer
Mad Dog
Mitzi Dupree
Dead Or Alive
******************************************
THE BATTLE RAGES ON:
The Battle Rages On
Solitaire
Anya
Ramshackle Man
Twist In The Tale
A Nasty Piece Of Work
Time To Kill

Re: MK2 reunion albums - seven songs only
I'm not really of the opinion that you can improve an album by taking tracks out of it. Frankly an album with 8 great tracks and 2 OK tracks is better than an album with just the 8 great tracks, because you get some extra, even if they aren't as good.

Re: MK2 reunion albums - seven songs only
The overall impression of an album gets worse if there are some fillers included, so I would probably like these albums better if I could cut them down to my 7 favourite songs...

Re: MK2 reunion albums - seven songs only
I'm not sure if it's valid to include bonus tracks from the remasters, instead of just using the tracks from the original albums which would mean that Son of Alerik and Not Responsible aren't available for Perfect Strangers (at least not in th UK).
KAYBD
Under the Gun
Mean Streak
Perfect Strangers
Wasted Sunsets
Hungry Daze
Nobody's Home
Bad Attitude
Black & White
Hard Lovin' Woman
Mitzie Dupree
Mad Dog
Call of the Wild
I'm stuck on 6 for HOBL and even thats pushing it a bit.
TBRO
Anya
Time to Kill
Ramshackle Man
Twist in the Tail
Solitaire
One Man's Meat
