Decent enough performance (for someone of his age) but cmon the voice just isnt what it used to be and that sounded dare i say a bit old and tired and a bit FLAT!!Age catches up with everyone and it HAS caught up with Ronnie he is still one of my all time favourites though

You still maintain that RJD sounds flat these days? emoticon

By "Flat" i didnt mean off tune i simply meant uninspired.Look RJD is still a brilliant singer even now I still love the guys voice I have only just bought tickets to see DIO in Glasgow at the end of the year but IMHO he doesnt sing as well as he used to he is old and his voice has aged end of story it happens to everyone even the best and he most certainly is one of the best ever

It'll probably be some time until we hear something new from DC. He's currently sharing his favorite ****tail recipes on ws.com:

"My current fave ****tail is something I call ‘Java Jive’...Here goes, Boys & Girls...2 shots of Van Gogh Double Expresso Vodka...1 shot of Starbucks Coffee Liqueur...1 shot of Original Baileys...shaken over ice...served in a chilled martini glass...Mmmmmm...quite the dessert of ****tails, Lads & Lasses...& rather potent...( ahem )..."

Ok guys: Dio has his limitations these days. But I was more than just a little impressed by the Greek Theatre show last month. And none of my friend's that were there have complained about his voice. (On the other hand, friends that were at the previous week's Whitesnake show, comments were noted in the negative on DC's voice.) Dio is 67 years old. He looks amazing. It's ironic the guy in H+H that looks the worst is just turning 50 (Vinnie) while Iommi, Butler and Dio are now in their 60s. Dio to me is still totally amazing. Glad to see it.

Just spotted this quality clip from Paso Robles, unfortunately with DC sounding really off:

Ah, these were the days... Crying in the Rain, Japan 84. A good reminder of how "right" everything felt at one point. From DC's introduction to Sykes's confidence spilling all over Tokyo. emoticon

Ere's some very atmospheric footage for ya:
