what next...

This from DC...

"Morning All...Well...at last I got the all clear that my cords are back in singing, howlingly good shape, so, I’m starting my warm up vocal exercises to build up the stamina & can at last get back to working out properly...It was an utter delight to reconnect with my FAB doctors in LA, Dr Edward Kantor & Dr Joseph Sugarman after so many years...Lovely to see them doing so well...& God Bless ‘em for being there...They were a close & very significant part of my life for me back in the late 80’s & early 90’s...The cool thing is that the guys who took such exceptional care of me after the pain & disappointment of my having to pull out of the Denver show, Dr Buzz Reifman & Dr David Opperman, are very close friends & associates of the LA boys..so, my sincere thanks to them all for their exceptional ministrations...I shall be spreading the good word, Chaps, to all my singing chums!...Tabby...My immediate plans are to continue living my life to the full, enjoying my Family, my home, my career & moving forward in all those aspects...There are LOTS of choice ‘back-burner’ projects that I simply haven’t had time to address for many years, so, my Friend & C0-Producer, Michael McIntyre, & I are digging thro’ countless demos to see if there is anything worth pursuing...reviewing unreleased stuff, transfering all the analogue recordings to digital & see if anything lights us up to get our ever so polished dentures into..."

Umm, me thinks it will be more of the same next year (ie more of the post 1987 metal moshing Snake he's so in love with) which I feel is a huge mistake. The other stuff sounds interesting though....

The impression I got of this message was he will spend the near future co-ordinating possible releases of old stuff?

That's what it sounds like to me. I'm not expecting him to "sing" anything for the next 12 months. Wojak....I think you may be reading that wrong because I didn't get the same impression you did....errr...maybe I'm reading that wrong. lol dunno

I'm sure he will get together with Doug working on some ideas over the next 6 months, but anything new still seems a long way off. As does touring.

And the stuff Doug has been talking about is more acoustic stuff. So maybe a slight change in direction from most of the tunes on GTBB and the 80s records..

Not sure if that will be the case as Doug is back in Dio's touring band.

Filling in for Goldy on a 4-week European run yes. DC/WS is still his main gig which everything revolves around.

I still have a feeling there is going to be a major shake up in WS ... I have a feeling that there is going to be a major lineup change ... don't know why I get this feeling, but I think there will be one ...
