The dermatologist said it was genetic -- I picked up the recessive gene -- but I disagree. The more I think back on it, it happened when I was exhausted and stressed out. i had also been sick with a sinus infection for over 7 months. There has been no further hair loss, but it also hasn't grown back. But apparently hair growth happens in certain stages, and it might grow back later. I'm back to doing yoga (which is good for your thyroid) and making sure I eat more fruit and veg
