bone weary

I woke up so tired today that I decided to go back to bed and sleep in, something I almost never do. Over 2-1/2 hours later (10:30) I woke up still feeling worn out. It bothered me because I don't feel sick. I don't think I'm coming down with anything. I just felt so tired, like an old person, so I made myself get up.

I've been dieting and I wondered if I overdid it and was not giving myself enough energy-giving food, so I slipped off the diet and had something sugary.

I still feel tired and I'm making myself do my chores. The goldfish badly need the filter changed.
ick!!! The dog needs her bed washed because one of the damn cats peed on it.

I think I will buy a frozen dinner for tonight; I need every break I can get.

Oh ****! I just remembered, I have to go visit my father-in-law this evening. He had his hip fixed and he has alzheimer's so he forgets where he is and what's going on every five minutes.

I guess I shouldn't complain about feeling tired. My problems are nothing compared to that!

And the boys will definitely need something easy for dinner. I made a mistake not teaching them to cook while they were young enough to be interested.

I am teaching my boys to cook because they like to eat.
I have a son who will be 20 in July, he says he could have done more to help out, I bet he wishes I taught him how to cook.
Scott does pretty good, so he has leanrned a few things that he likes to eat he is only 11 but he can make mac and cheese he has to learn that one because Alex likes it too.
Phillip is lazy and like micorwaveable food.
Top ramen. he will eat anything.
the joys of being a mother.
you get to do all the cooking and cleaning if you want anything done.
