This Monday
Dinner is late, but then I am still at home alone. I feel a bit tired. I slept badly last night, needed a nap this afternoon, so started dinner late. Now the porkchops are done and sitting in a casserole dish on the stove. They smell good; I added a bit of cinnamon and applesauce with the usual seasonngs. Asparagus is steamed, but carrots are taking longer. They should have gone on before the asparagus - my brain wasn't thinking. I had planned to make stew but was too tired to want to chop and flour. Chops are easier.
Tomorrow I'll be driving up to Ottawa so you probably wont' see me for a couple of days. I'm helping my daughter move to a new apartment. She lucked out and found one that is lower rent with the hydro included. She won't have her phone right away, so no internet either.
I'd better go to bed early tonight (if I can) so that I can handle another drive up to Ottawa.
