posticon bit sad

Hi everyone. Beautiful day here today. I drove to a small city and took a walk in a really nice neighbourhood with cute little old houses. It's near an old shopping district with little stores and no big "name" stores. I would love to live somewhere like that. Now I'm home I feel a bit tired and glum. I'm kind of sick of living in the country. It's not like we can afford a horse or anything. We're far from everything, the hills are terrible to drive in the winter, and I haven't made a real friend around here since we moved in 11 years ago. Sorry about the *****ing but needed to vent. Thanks for listening.

Hopefully things will look better later.

Funny you did make a real friend in that time but I live far away.

I say follow your dreams whatever they are because dreams are imporant.

If you want to live in a little town nothing can stop you once you make up your mind.

Re: bit sad

The problem is I'm being split in two, if not in more directions than that. I'd like to live in a city, at least a small one, in an area which isn't ritzy but is still older and has some charm. My husband wants to be in the country. I think this is because he works in a busy city. If he was home he would be as bored and lonely as I. But you are a good friend, and i hope someday I can visit you or visa versa!

Well one thing I can say is we passed our inspection, and things are looking good for us.
I have a few things I need to fix but mostly if she wrote it down we would not have passed and she would also have to come back, so we passed and she will not be back for another year.
We told her we had no car now.
She is very nice to give us a little room where maybe she should not have but everything she wanted fixed last year I fixed so she was happy.
I am glad that it is all over.
I was very stressed out of all this cleaning and getting ready.
