Maybe your computer needs a scan defrag clean out thingee. The one I'm on is slow too, so I am running a complete scan. It's been scanning for 27 minutes and hasn't found anything, but there has to be some reason for the slowness!
Did you get a chance to look at the website under the polar bear photos? It looks like a cool site to bookmark to me.

Turned out there were 25 adware cookies helping to slow it down. I wish they would make adware illegal. Huge fines for anyone caught planting it.
