Hopeless Dreams
In the future I see myself
On a park bench feeding my face
I'm all alone, no one around
Expect birds looking for food on the ground.
My blanket I owe keeping me warm,
Cold ,frost last night, chilled to the bone.
I wished I had a nice , warm room
No money to pay for things I need,
Hopes and dreams go by the waste side,
I feel drained from all the strain.
Life as we know it , gone forever
Never to be found again.
Homeless forever I shall be
That's the life for me.

I dedicated the poem to the homeless people out there. I remember one winter day seeing a man sitting on a bus bench with all his belongings with him and that's what got me to writing this poem.
