Complain
A thread to complain about anything that is bothering you, big or small. Can be anything from, "I got in a car accident and nearly died, and my best friend did die," to "I stubbed my toe this morning, and it really hurt!" I'll start.
As I stated on the tagbox, I fell through ice today. I only fell in up to my waist, and managed to get out quickly, but still, a rather... troublesome incident. All my clothes got wet... but hey, I'm still alive to complain about it, so, meh, at least I have that going for me.

Re: Complain
The question would be: how did you manage that?
But yay for surviving it! I mean... not everybody falls through ice O_o

Re: Complain
Well, I was pretty lucky. The lake goes from 4 feet deep to 20 feet deep, and I was in a 4 foot deep area when I fell through. I'm 6'6", so it wasn't that bad, didn't have my head go under. I immediately grabbed on to the edge, dragged myself back onto ice, crawled away, etc. Then, I swiftly walked back to shore, my legs feeling like they were on fire the whole time, got in my car, stripped off my boots and socks, and then cranked the heat. When I got back to my house, I changed my pants, and am now waiting for them to dry.

Re: Complain
Omg, sounds cold and wet Dx
Reminds me of one time *dreams away* a few years ago. It was winter *as it usually is when there's cold and ice and the like* and I was kinda gone for a moment while bykeing, so yeah, I kinda fell into the river Dx It was damn cold and I had to ride home only wearing one shoe *the other one was later found by my father* ... Why do I always do such stupid things...?

Re: Complain
So, I was at a New Years Party last night, (in answer to the inevitable question, no, I didn't drink.) While at this party, my Drama Alarm went off, warning me that drama was going to ensue between these two guys and this one girl, all three of whom are my friends, one of the guys being a guy I have staying over at my place over the winter break. At that point, I left and went home. Anyways, I usher in the new year at home, with some internet surfing. At 2 AM, I decide to call it a night.
That's the first part of the story.
Now, this morning, I wake up cold. My room has a draft, and can get very cold, especially in winter. Very cold, but not wanting to wake up, I think to myself, "hey, I should go sleep on the futon, since my friend who is staying with me is still over at the party house," (everyone was rather drunk, and no one was supposed to be driving.) As I wander out of my room, my thought processes goes like this: "Hey, there's someone on my futon." "Not only someone, but 3 someones, none of whom I remember being on my futon when I went to bed the night before." "Not only that, but I recognize all three as the three who were having drama. All three were very drunk, and should not have been driving. Yet they are here, at 8:30 in the morning." My blank WTF face got overtime right then. Now I'm back to surfing the web, waiting for someone to wake up and explain the situation to me.

Re: Complain
wouldn't that be more like a WTF-moment?
It would, certainly for me xD
Your complains always turn out to be rather interesting stories you can tell people.
Also, condoleances for the draughty room. I know that to some extend, myself *pets*

Re: Complain
It is freezing here. (-8*F / -22*C)
I was proposed to and therefore emasculated.
--- Fox:"Contrary to popular belief, D's are not B's with their belt's off, guys."
Student:"But they are so pudgy and cute!"

Re: Complain
I couldn't think of a more nonchalant way to put it. I was proposed to by my girlfriend at actually 12:00pm Christmas Eve at her parent's house.
--- Fox:"Contrary to popular belief, D's are not B's with their belt's off, guys."
Student:"But they are so pudgy and cute!"
