Could you help a Exeter Charity?
Would your band like to be a part of our fundraising day in July and play at our Summer Fete? we are having it at Belmont Park, in Exeter on the 15th July at 12 noon till 6 o’clock, we have other bands playing but if you would like to play we would be intrested in hearing from you!
You would be supporting a registered charity which promotes independent living skills and learning opportunities in a social context to disabled people in Devon. RISE currently has a wide range of activities which include Information Technology; Visual Arts and Crafts/Pottery; Music and Drama; DIY and Conservation. We are looking to extend these activities to include sport, gardening, films and film-making. During school holidays Kidz@RISE presents opportunities for disabled children from Exeter and mid Devon to socialise and play.
We believe RISE is unique, offering blend of accessible learning in a fun atmosphere to people who otherwise would not have an opportunity. Unfortunately, as what we offer is not regarded as statutory provision, we are reliant on grants and donations to enable us to keep our services up to date and exciting. As well as an ongoing programme of applications to trusts and foundations, we have a regular programme of fundraising events. And it is this we seek your help for.
