The period for nominating people for the Eryndor Executive Board is now closed.
There are several people who have been nominated who have not made any post or indication if they actually wish to be considered for the position. It would be appreciated if these individuals could be contacted (if they don't know they have even been nominated) & make a brief introduction about who they are (as seen throughout this thread). If they would like to be removed from consideration, please have them post on this thread if they could.
Unit reps, please confer amongst your respective unit to determine who you will be voting for on January 10th. Please recognize that in the case of a 'runoff' structure, your first choice candidate may not be in the runoff. Thus, having 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc. choices for candidates would be appropriate to discuss.

Something I would like to add that I forgot to have mentioned. I recently decided to make 2 new weapons check bins for the whole of Eryndor. I noticed that at the last few events, we were un able to use any of the bins. I do not know why this was, and I personally don't care, but I wanted to make sure that we do have a set of weapons check bins, even if they are extra. I personally feel that you can never have too much of one thing.
Another thing that I forgot to mention is that I am someone that is very, VERY easy to get in contact with. I check my email daily, and always have my phone with me.

As per Athron's request to post our decision to accept/decline, I would like to decline my nomination for treasurer. Though I appreciate the thought, I cannot devote the time to the position at this time (PhD school is harder than it looks!).

I also will be declining the nomination for coordinator. I feel that Wog or Vlad would be much better choices to do the jobs that are involved with Coordinator. I will straight up say that my note taking skills are bad. Unless you want them in Arabic mixed with doodles of armour designs. I am a bad choice for a secretary because I keep my thoughts together in my head, not on paper.

Well, what do you know, this thread went and grew up when I wasn't looking.
As one of the first nominated, I find it fitting that I should be the last to accept my nomination for a presidential position. I always appreciate a full circle, as it were.
Since I don't generally toot my own horn, I won't go on long: I can safely say that I am a clear thinker, that I have a cool temperment, that I can act as a mediator and a balancing force in discussions, and that I possess the skills necessary to help keep Eryndor running smoothly.
I would be honored if I were chosen to help share the burden of keeping our community active, alive, and growing; and even if I am not chosen, I am sure I will still be able to make my contribution in some small way.
