Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Our WalMart has a $1/yd table that always has fat bolts of "interesting" fabrics on it. But yeah, a bolt will only cover about 60 feet at best, usually.

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Perfect world would probably be a flat green or a flat borwn or a grey (forest or stone wall, if you will)... is something like that you could get $1/ yd if we secured coupons?

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Someone also asked about wind factor... I've seen peple just cut half-circle at random intervals in the fabric so thew wind passes through.

Oh my freakin' gods...I'm so sorry! My retardedly distracted mind didn't catch this right away.
Fabric...ok...lemme think.
*thinks*
I can get plain white muslin (cotton) as wide as 120" if necessary...length is determined on whatever the heck i can get my hands on.
Toss some monies at me (couple bucks a piece) and I can get that...maybe some spray paint?
Lemme know guys, I'm all in. I would LOVE to pay for this in full, but guys...I work part-time, live on my own, have a sh**ty car that needs too much of my attention...you get the point. I can do as much as half (work discount included)--that's it, sorry.
Still, someone let me know via email what I can do!

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
What about the plain cotton fabric (quilting?). Isn't there some that's like $1.99/yd?
Also, I believe that the Eryndor treasury would be paying for it, not you.

Yes, this should be purchased by the Eryndor Treasury (in turn this all needs to go through he proper channels first), as this is clearly a "chapter asset" that we can share at various events.
If we could get fabric that's approx 60" high, that's a 5 ft. wall... still high enough to be a 'barrier' but still low enough that everyone can see all the fun in Eryndor camp and come kick it with us
Anything $1.50/yd or less would be preferrable. My rough estimates tell me we're going to need something ridiculous like 70 yards.... probably more, actually.
Maybe this first year we just have the 'wall' along side the walkway and use tents as the barriers for the other ends...in that case we'd need about 50 yards (our main camp spot is 150 ft. long, with the detached "party porch" being ??? in dimensions.

Re: So, we need a fabric wall...
Ok...unfortunately there's nothing in existance that is plain and found in enough quantity that is...well...inexpensive.
Muslin is anywhere from $1.99 to $8.99 and comes in the following widths--again, length is variable on whatever we need:
36"
38"
43"
45"
90"
108"
120"
60" material comes in 8 to 10 yard bolts at anywhere from $5 to $15 per yard.
I've worked around fabric for years, so yeah...I have no reason to lie. Nothing's cheap guys...prices are going up for absolutely everything.
I do, however, have a discount via work, so if I can get the funds, I'll be happy to purchase whatever is necessary.
Liika has my instant messenger name if anyone (Athron) needs it.
