Hey Eryndor!
So I just recently got back into Dagorhir and am attempting to begin a chapter up in the Upper Peninsula. But that's not what this is about.
I'm probably going to be in your area (about 15 miles away, and hey, what's 15 miles?) on Saturday the 15th of March. I'm hoping there will be practice that date?
Couple questions as well. I should have my garb ready by then, but if I don't will it be an issue? Also, I have weapons that I've built but I don't know if I'll have room in the car for them, so will there be loaners available?

Well, first of all, welcome back to Dagorhir. And second, there is a practice planned for that date. Now, bare in mind that if the weather is so bad, that driving is near imposible, then practice would have to be called. But then again, that never stoped me from going to practice anyways.
As regards to a few of your questions, you will not have to worry about your garb, but it is perfered. Most likely just about everyone there will be in garb, so if you can, go along.
If you unable to have any of your own weapons, I will have a number of extra blues and shields that you can use.
Practice will start around 1, but the main fighting usually does not start untill later in the day. I will keep doing my "warm weather dance" so I hope we get nice weather for it.
If you have any other questions, just let me know.

And my fledgling chapter is up in a little bitty town called Laurium. About 15 miles north of Houghton.

Okay, so I will definitely be there.
Also, I'm kind of afraid to ask this, but I'm 15. I'll have a notarized waiver with me just in case. Sound good or should I not bother showing up until after my b-day?

Well, I will try to answer that as best as I can.
I believe it will not be a problem. I would like to take down your info on it, sense you are making your own unit, and are not a member of Eryndor. You would want to hold on to that for yourself for future Dagorhir events however. Also, if you happen to come to one of our Eryndor ran events, we would need it then. As for now, hold on to it for your records.
If anyone can explain better than how I said it, please do so.

Bring a signed (and preferably notarized) waiver. Eryndor's policy has been a minimum of 14 for practices. We like to have properly filled out and signed waivers for everyone that participates in our fighting, including practices. So, if you can have one signed and notarized you have no trouble.

A reminder, practice THIS SATURDAY from 1-4(or when it gets dark) at Munson Park.
Now, if there are a large number of people who would like to come to practice, but cannot make it untill later than 1, please let me know. We might be able to figure something out with the times.
