In search of warpaint! Does anybody know of any good stores/websites that sell durable warpaint? The water-soluable marker ink just isn't cutting it for me anymore, as I'm sick of having the crap run into my eyes and off of my face after a mere 15 minutes into battle. I need some high-quality sweat-proof warpaint from now on, preferable some woad to slather all over my face (the stuff Mel Gibson wore in his historically-inaccurate depiction of William Wallace). You guys got any suggestions?
IN SPECIFIC: Ryot, and TomAtoe, where do you guys get your paint? And what about the stuff all you Vikings wear into battle?
Anyone else is free to comment, too. I was just curious where our resident goblins and vikings acquired their warpaint.
Re: In search of warpaint! we use a stuff now called "ben nigh" not sure if i spelled that right. i think its stage paint. maybe ask a more reliable source than me
Re: In search of warpaint! our guys do a 50/50 blend of acrylic paint and suntan lotion which tends to last for a good chunk of the day, and is crazy cheap.

There's a bunch of allergy-free facepaint available now all year long. It's in with the kid's crafting stuff. Comes in crayon or pallet form. TONS of colors!
Re: In search of warpaint! For allover color, you mix food coloring with water and put it in a spray-bottle. Spray yourself down evenly, let it dry, and it should stay on all day and wash off easier than stage paint.
For painted-on designs, there's a more expensive option called Temptu paint that paints on and doesn't wash off. It's designed to make temporary tattoos, and comes off with alcohol. You can get it from www.mehandi.com (along with crystaline indigo to be used like Woad, and Henna for brown body decoration, and instructions for how to properly use all this stuff)

Re: In search of warpaint! I'm not sure how it would work, but possibly regular Tempra paints might work, they wash off pretty well but I'm not sure on how sweat would affect it.
