Weapon/Shield Making
okay, newbie to this whole thing. I have blue swords down BUT these I need help with
1x punching shield
1x tower shield
1x regular shield (round, square, just a more average size. not sure of the technical name it may have o.O)
2x red swords
2x flails
Yea its alot, I haven't done a whole lot of digging but if anyone can tell me how, point me to a good tutorial or just show me, it would be good. Trying to get an armory together.
Looking for foam estimates, and anything I need to know. I need to get this stuff down, and this seems to be a good place to start.

Here is my round strap-shield tutorial:

You can make 2 red swords out of 1 bandshoppe pole and 2 camping mats (you'll have plenty left over) and a quart of DAP...plus duct tape, athletic tape, etc. If you want to counterweight 'em, buy 2 of the biggest carriage bolts you can find at Home Depot or wherever - they'll be about 1/2" thick and about 10" long. Get the kind with the flattish rounded head, not the hex head. Then get a coil of 14ga steel wire to wrap around the bolt to beef up the weight. And other option would be to buy nuts to screw onto the bolt, but make sure it'll all fit inside the pole!
I build my reds box-style, like a giant Eryndor Tutorial blue, only I use 4 layers of foam on the striking edge rather than 3.

Forgot that dagorhir has a tutorial page *blonde moments* But yours is extremely helpful, especialy since I want to make a small buckler for myself ^-^
Now to start getting stuff together for red swords yay.

Shield Making Foam
I was wondering how to get my hands on some Maxyor Foam for making punch shields. Can anyone help me with that please?
