This is one of my recent forays into poetry, just wondrin what ya guys think...
Embrace
When, my love,
Will my empty hands be gifted by your touch?
Soon, we fly together into the clouds of heaven.
Then, my love,
Will my weeping eyes see the light of your fire?
Always, we shine, as brilliant as the stars.
When, my love,
Will I hear your voice echo in my darkness?
Forever we speak softly, in tender whispers.
Then, my love,
Will my mouth at last taste your sweetness?
Ever, we share passionate kisses, sweet as honey.
When, my love,
Will I smell the comforting mist of your perfume?
Now, we surround ourselves with fragrant blooms.
Take me, my love, for you have captured my senses.
My love, already we are one. I have been embraced by you.

Thank you guys for reading. Yes it is a bit unusual, I wondered if anyone else could see where I was comming from, because it was clear in my head, but I left it obscure on purpose.
It is a conversation between two soulmates, the one who has moved on comforting the one who is mourning. This is intended to be the ending of one of my stories.
So yes John, you hit the nail on the head...
